Electronic Poker is a game of ability – and using the basic combination of wagering system and mathematical understanding, might be beat. Take note of the "pay out schedule" shown on the front of each machine, and appear particularly at the most crucial details – how very much the machine will pay for a Full-House versus a Flush.
An advanced electronic poker player will also realise that a "Jacks-or-Better" machine – classed as a nine/six machine for paying out nine coins: one for each Full House and 6: one for every single Flush, is usually beaten using excellent Basic Electronic Poker Technique. An additional machine offering the advanced electronic poker gambler an edge is the ten/six Deuces Wild device. These odds have been established as a result of computer modelling. For the other machines – even if a player plays the Perfect Video-Poker Method game, he will still not win, though will have fun playing!

Jacks-or-Better Electronic-Poker Method
- In any hand with a Jack, unless the hand is already a winner! – 4 to an open-ended Straight, 4 into a Flush or three to some Straight Flush or Royal Flush – refuse all cards only keeping the Jack
- In any hand with only one card Jack or better, preserve the single superior card and refuse all other cards and redraw.
- In any hand with 1 pair less than than Jacks, preserve the pair and reject all other cards – unless of course the hand is four into a Straight or four to a Flush
- In any hand having a 2-pair, retain both pair and reject the odd-card.
- In any hand having three-of-a-kind retain the three-of-a-kind and reject the other two cards.
- In any hand with four into a Straight, preserve all four Straight cards and re-draw – unless of course the Straight draw is not open-ended and the hand is having a Jack)
- In any hand having 4 to some Flush, retain the 4 Flush – unless the hand holds 3 to the Royal in which case you would draw to the Royal Flush
- In any hand having four-of-a-kind, hold every thing since a one-card draw won’t enhance the cards.
- In any hand having three with a Royal Flush, refuse everything else and go for the Royal – unless the hand is already a Sraight Flush!
