Video Poker is a favored game that can be enjoyed in casinos all over the world, or alternatively at your house on your computer, using a net account. The game rules are very simple and consist of the player attempting to achieve the highest combination of cards possible in order to come away with money. On this account it is much the same as a regular game of poker, minus the line of contact with other players. The game of Electronic Poker begins when the bettor inserts credits (whether it is tokens, tickets or cash) into the machine and pushes the draw button. A 5 card hand will be electronically ‘given out’ on the video screen.

After the player has decided on which cards he or she would like to retain, the player will then press ‘deal’, at which point any fresh cards are needed they will be dealt. The hand is now finished, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the hand to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands listed in the payout schedule.
Typically, the minimum winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money growing for each and every better hand. A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the payout schedule can vary from machine to machine, so that knowledgeable bettors are able to choose the most profitable ones each instance.
After the first round has played out, the player can either decide to remain on in an attempt to increase their winnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any money that they may have won. Further, some styles of the game allow the bettor an opportunity to double their profits, in which case a further game is played. There are also differences among individual machines, with some decks of cards including wild cards and other varying aspects to enhance playability.
